2020-21 (Junior Season): Appeared in all 23 games during his junior season...Became the first Husky since 1998 and the program's first Division I player to earn a CCM/ACHA All-American Honors after a break-out offensive season...He led Hockey East in scoring, piling up 29 points coming on a team-best 14 goals and 15 assists...Was the co-winner of the league's PNC Bank Three Stars Award...Became the first Husky to be named a Hockey East First Team All-Star...Was named a finalist for the Hockey East Player of the Year award...Finished the season with seven multi-point games...Recorded 10 power play points on two goals and eight assists...Finished the season as a +8, tied for the team lead...Had the third hat-trick of his career when he scored four goals in a home win over Merrimack (Jan. 30), the most goals in a game by a Husky in the Division I era (1998-present)...Scored at least a point in 18 of the 23 games...Had a streak of six-straight games with a point (Dec. 11, 2020-Jan. 1, 2021), the longest streak of his career...Averaged 1.26 points per game on the season...Scored twice in a road win at New Hampshire (Jan. 16)...Scored a goal and added a career-high three assists in a home win over nationally ranked Providence (Mar. 5)...Blocked a career-high 20 shots, the second highest total among the team's forwards.
2019-20 (Sophomore Season): Played in 27 games, missing a stretch in November with injury…Had 19 total points on the season, scoring nine goals with 10 assists…Was one of three players in the NCAA with two hat-tricks during the season…Finished the year with three multi-point games and was a +8 for the season…Was tied for fourth on the team in goals scored…Had his first hat-trick of the season, including the game-winner, in a 7-4 win at home over Vermont (Dec. 7)…Had a career-high five points including a hat-trick, his second of the season, in a road win, 7-4, at New Hampshire (Jan. 31)…Had an assist in the weekend sweep over UNH, and earned Hockey East Player of the Week honors (Feb. 2)…Had two assists in a 5-2 win at Rensselaer (Oct. 18)…Scored a goal in a 3-2 win at Merrimack (Nov. 1), UConn’s first-ever win at Merrimack…Was on a line with classmate Ruslan Iskhakov and freshman Vladislav Firstov for 12 games with the trio producing 28 points (12g/16a), second highest total for a UConn line combination on the season.
2018-19 (Freshman Season): Saw action in 22 games as a rookie…Closed out his freshman campaign with 16 points with goals and assists at eight apiece…His eight goals were a UConn rookies best and left him sitting ninth among all Hockey East rookies…Ended the year with five power play points (1g/4a)…Generated 40 shots on goal…Had two game winning goals on the season…Scored the first two goals in UConn’s 3-1 win over Brown (Nov. 13), one being on the power play…Found the back of the net twice as UConn shutout Merrimack 5-0 (Feb. 09) …Scored another two as the Huskies came out the 5-1 victors against conference foe Vermont (Mar. 01).
Before UConn: Spent the last four seasons playing for the Powell River Kings of the BCHL…Appeared in 194 games with 190 points on 82 goals and 108 assists…Was third on the team this past season with 51 points in 49 games…Led the River Kings scoring in 2016-17 with 78 points on 36 goals and 42 assists over 57 games and garnered second team BCHL All-Star accolades…Attended Delview Secondary, Brooks Secondary and South Delta Secondary…Transferred to UConn from American Public University.
