Rachel Signor, a 2018 and 2020 graduate of UConn, and former UConn rowing standout, rejoined the program as an assistant coach in 2021. She previously served as the team’s graduate assistant coach from 2018-20. Signor competed on the UConn rowing team from 2014-18, earning a first-place finish in the Freshman 8+ at the Head of the Schuylkill and third place at the American Athletic Conference Championship in the 2V8+. She also rowed with ARION U23 Development during the summers of 2018 and 2019 and coached "Learn-to-Row" for two years at the Saratoga Rowing Association.
After earning her master's degree in sport management in the spring of 2020, Signor worked at the Saratoga Springs Racetrack. She was also involved in the 2020 NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar and worked with the UConn National C Club, Student-Athlete Development and for UConn athletics marketing during the 2017-18 season.
