Masi joins UConn after spending the two years as an assistant coach at Fordham University where she ran practices, coordinated recruiting efforts, and handled the team's travel needs. She also helped the team place second in the Atlantic10 Championship meet in 2020.
Before her time with Fordham, Masi worked as an interim head swim coach at the Maine Maritime Academy. She was later promoted to Head Swim Coach and Aquatics Director at the academy, where she was responsible for recruiting, coordinating practices and scheduling, as well as alumni relations. Masi led the team its first team win in school history and the CSCAA Scholar All-American Team Award.
A four-year letter winner with the University of Massachusetts Amherst Swimming and Diving team, Masi served as team captain in her senior year. She competed in the Atlantic10 Championship meets three years, recording top-20 finishes in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events.
