Marjorie Ondeck has re-joined the program for the 2021-22 season as assistant women's tennis coach.
Growing up playing tennis in New England, she reached as high as #2 in the region's G18s and received the New England Sportsmanship award in 16 and under division. Ondeck played collegiately at the University of Memphis from 2006-2010, playing #1-3 singles and #1 doubles
After finishing her collegiate playing career, she continued playing ITF futures/satellites and was ranked in the top-100 women on USTA national list. She coached and traveled with juniors playing National & ITF tournaments. Prior to coming to UConn, she spent time coaching in Southern California at Weil Tennis Academy from 2015-2018 as an assistant coach and tournament/travel coordinator.
