Houzhi (Steven) Hu begins his first season as the Director of Quality Control and Team Photographer for the UConn men’s soccer program.
Steven previously served as a student manager for the team during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, where he played a key role in supporting daily operations and team logistics.
In his new role, Hu will assist the Director of Operations in coordinating team travel, managing home game operations, supporting ticket sales, and providing in game photo footage for UConn Men’s Soccer.
A native of Qingdao, China, Steven earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Connecticut in May 2025, with a minor in Professional Sales Leadership.
