UConn Volleyball Center
The UConn Volleyball Center opened in 2023 and was renovated in 2024 after being the Frietas Family Ice Forum since 1998. The project was funded through a donation, with construction unfolding in three phases. The UVC has been the home of the UConn women’s volleyball team for the last three seasons.
The Huskies have compiled a 30-15 record at the UConn Volleyball Center. UConn won 14 of their 15 home games in a 2024 season that saw the Huskies win 26 games and earn trips to the BIG EAST Tournament and NIVC. The UVC had its first official sell-out on September 14th, 2024 in a win over UAlbany.
The UConn Volleyball Center features four courts- one for matches and three for practices, as well as renovated locker rooms and team areas.
