Women's Soccer to Play Nebraska in NCAA Third Round

STORRS, CT (Nov. 14, 2000)- The University of Connecticut
womens soccer team will play the University of
Nebraska in third round action of the 2000
NCAA Womens College Cup Tournament on
Friday, November 17 at 8:00 p.m. EST.
UConn earned a first round bye and then went on to defeat Wisconsin 1-0 on November 12 to advance to the Sweet 16 at Nebraska. UConn, 16-6-2 overall, has now made its 19th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
The game can be heard on live on 91.7 WHUS and also via the internet at www.whus.org.
