Huskies Compete in the Head of the Connecticut

Middletown, CT (October 7) – The University of Connecticut women’s rowing team competed in the Head of the Connecticut on Sunday afternoon in Middletown, CT.
The Novice Four crew came away with a sixth place finish in a group of nine boats. UMass took the win in a time of 26:12, while UConn ended in a time of 27:14. The Varsity Eight and the Junior Varsity Eight squads competed in the Intermediate Eight race. Dartmouth came away with the overall win in a time of 21:45. The Varsity Eight crew placed 12th (22:53) and the Junior Varsity crew finished 24th (24:04) in the race with 37 boats.
The women’s rowing team will compete on Sunday, October 14 at the Head of the Riverfront in Hartford, CT.
