UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT FOOTBALL NEWCOMERS REPORT FOR PRE-SEASON CAMP

STORRS, CONNECTICUT (August 7, 2001)-- The 2001 University of Connecticut Football newcomers reported to the Storrs campus Monday, marking the start of a Husky training camp that will begin in earnest with a pair of practices on Wednesday, August 8.
The newcomers all checked in on Monday afternoon and had physicals and received their equipment. They will spend all day Tuesday attending to academic issues for the coming semester.
