Huskies Place Eighth at New England Championships

BOSTON, MA (Oct. 11) - The University of Connecticut women's cross country team took eighth place out of 42 teams at the New England Championship race on Friday.
Boston College took first place with a score of 70, as UConn had 324 points.
The top UConn runner on the day was Kristen Meyer with a 30th place finish in a time of 18:23.0, finishing 1:16 behind the top finisher, Maria Cicero of Boston College.
