Huskies Pick Up First Two Wins Of Spring Season

BURLINGTON, VT (February 24, 2002) - The University of Connecticut women's tennis team picked up its first two wins of the spring season on Sunday as it easily got past Vermont with a 6-1 victory before blanking Hofstra, 7-0. With the victories, Connecticut's overall record improved to 6-3.
Connecticut will be back in action on March 10 when the Huskies travel to West Point, NY. UConn will take on Long Island University at 1 p.m. prior to meeting Army at 5 p.m.
