Huskies Finish 10th at New England Championships

BOSTON, MA (Oct. 10) - With four runners placing in the top 50 of 255 participants, the University of Connecticut men’s cross country team placed 10th of 47 teams at the New England Championships held at Franklin Park. Mike Hall (Washington Depot, CT) was the top finisher for the Huskies with a time of 25:25 to place 30th.
Also scoring for UConn was Pat Blake (Lebanon, CT) with a 35th-place finish, Eric Fleckenstein (Port Jefferson, NY) in 39th, Max Feldman (Easton, CT) in 44th and Ken Goglas (Randolph, NJ) in 112th. Leading all teams was Providence who finished five runners in the top 20 and three in the top 10. Brown’s Patrick Tarpy led all runners with a time of 23:57.
UConn returns to action on Oct. 31 for the BIG EAST Championships at 11:00 a.m. in Bronx, NY.
