UConn Opens Road Trip with Split

ORLANDO, FL (Mar. 18, 2003) - The University of Connecticut men’s tennis team split a pair of duals on the beginning of their annual spring break trip in Orlando, FL. The Huskies dropped the first dual to Embry Riddle 8-1, but defeated the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB) 4-3. The split moves the Huskies to 5-4 overall.
UConn was led by junior Mike Louis who won his No. 6 singles match against Embry Riddle and his No. 5 singles match against UWGB. Other individuals who picked up singles wins against UWGB was senior Max Zubatsky and junior Andy Sweatt, while the teams of seniors Mark Furman/Joe Lang and Zubatsky/Brian Ravesloot won their doubles matches.
The Huskies continue action throughout the week in Orlando, FL on their annual spring break trip.
