Huskies Place Sixth at Quinnipiac Invitational

HAMDEN, CT (Sept. 26) - The University of Connecticut women’s cross country team finished sixth of nine teams at the Quinnipiac Invitational with 153 points, and placed one runner, Eileen O’Connor (Suffield, CT) in the top 20. O’Connor finished 18th in a time of 20:09, while Quinnipiac’s Carolyn Robin won the meet with a time of 18:59.
Cracking the top 30 for the Huskies was freshman Cara Reardon (Northborough, MA) with a time of 20:28 to place 27th.
The Huskies will return to action tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Iona Meet of Champions in Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx, NY.
