Men's and Women's Soccer to Play in Doubleheader

UConn students receive free admission
STORRS, Conn. (Oct. 19) - The University of Connecticut men’s and women’s soccer teams will play in a doubleheader Wednesday, October 20 at Morrone Stadium. The UConn women (11-5-0, 7-2-0 BIG EAST) face intrastate foe Central Connecticut (7-5-0, 3-1-0 NEC) at 5:00 p.m. The women are looking to continue their shutout streak of four games and winning streak of six games. The UConn men (7-4-1, 3-1-1 BIG EAST) will then match up against BIG EAST rival Boston College (9-3-0, 5-3-0 BIG EAST) at 7:30 p.m. The men are undefeated in seven of their last eight games, and last season battled the Eagles into double overtime before notching the 1-0 win with 12 seconds remaining.
Gates open for the first game 3:30 p.m., with UConn students receiving free admission with a valid student ID. Tickets purchased for either game can be used for admission to both games.
