Quinnipiac Defeats Men's Tennis, 6-1

HAMDEN, Conn. (Oct. 6) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team fell to Quinnipiac by a score of 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon in Hamden, Conn. The Huskies now have a 1-2 record in dual matches this fall.
UConn won the doubles point behind solid performances behind their No. 2 and 3 pairs. Brian Ravesloot and Mason Viau topped Quinnipiac's Mike Racioppo and Jon Russo, 8-5. Christian Malerba and Sam Sutherland then secured the doubles point with an 8-2 win over Scott Salway and Fabian Villacis.
The Huskies were not able to get anything going in the singles matches, dropping all six points to the Bobcats.
Final Score: Quinnipiac 6, Connecticut 1
