Huskies Ready To Face Georgia Tech

The UConn football team arrived in Atlanta on Friday afternoon for Saturday's game against Georgia Tech. Each team is 5-3 overall on the year and will be bowl eligible with a win. Heavy morning rains in Atlanta forced UConn to hold its Friday walk through on Tech's practice fields to help save the game field. On the left, head coach Randy Edsall shares a laugh with his players as they stretch on the practice field he patrolled daily as Tech's defensive coordinator in 1998. On the right, the Husky field goal unit gets some work in.
The tradition at Georgia Tech isn't that the players arrive straight at the stadium on game day, but rather that the team parades to Grant Field through campus as fans and the Rambling Wreck Marching Band cheers them on. The Huskies followed the parade route coming back to their locker room in the stadium after their short work out at the practice fields.
