Graczyk Named Second Team Academic All-District I

STORRS, Conn. (Nov. 4) - University of Connecticut senior forward Kristen Graczyk (Albuquerque, N.M.) was selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America to the Academic All-District I Women's Soccer Second Team as announced by CoSIDA on Thursday, Nov. 4. Graczyk, a co-captain, is a sports marketing major with a 3.22 GPA. She has also led the team in scoring each of the last three seasons and leads the Huskies this year with nine goals and nine assists for 27 points.
Graczyk and the UConn women's soccer team host the BIG EAST Championship this weekend, Nov. 5-7, at Morrone Stadium. On Friday, the second-seeded Huskies take on No. 6 Villanova at 7:00 p.m. Prior to their game, No. 1 Notre Dame faces No. 4 Boston College at 5:00 p.m. The BIG EAST Final will be played Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
