Huskies Compete at Army Invite

WEST POINT, NY (Feb. 3) - The University of Connecticut men’s tennis team traveled to West Point, N.Y. to compete against three teams on the campus of Army from Jan. 31-Feb. 1. The team played singles matches against Army, Binghamton and Stony Brook, and also competed in doubles against the host school.
UConn’s Mike Louis (New York, N.Y.) was the team’s top performer on the weekend, winning both singles matches he played in against Army and Binghamton. Sam Sutherland (Tampa, Fla.) also won his singles match against Army, fighting back to take the win in three sets over Kevin Harris. Brian Ravesloot (Tucson, Ariz.) was another three-set winner for the Huskies, rebounding to take a win in the No. 3 singles spot against Binghamton.
The men’s team returns to action on February 8, when they again travel to Army for dual matches against both the Black Knights and Binghamton. The first match is set for 12:00 p.m., and the second for 4:00 p.m.
