Three Huskies Earn Academic Honor

STORRS, CT (April 9) - University of Connecticut swimmers Sarah Thomas and Kate Jelus, along with diver Nora Claus, were all honored at UConn Scholar Day as New England Scholars for their outstanding work in the classroom.

The trio were recognized for earning at least a 3.5 grade point average over the 2003 calendar year, combining the spring and fall semesters. The ceremony was held on Wednesday at the Jorgensen Performing Arts Center in Storrs.
