Pisano's Olympic Run Ends in Final Round of Trials

SACRAMENTO, CA (July 19) - Two-time All-American Paul Pisano (Toms River, N.J.) finished seventh in the javelin throw finals at the U.S. Olympic Trials, ending his bid for a spot on the Olympic squad.
Pisano’s best throw of the day was 70.95 meters (232-10) as he placed seventh out of 12 competitors. He advanced to the finals with a 12th place throw of 70.21 meters (230-4) in the qualifying round on July 15th.
