Huskies to Face Bentley at FleetCenter
Contest Scheduled as Part of an Atlantic Hockey Doubleheader on Feb. 12th
STORRS, Conn. (Jan. 10) – The University of Connecticut men’s hockey team will take part in an Atlantic Hockey doubleheader at the FleetCenter in Boston on Saturday, February 12. The Huskies will face off against Bentley at 8:00 p.m., while Quinnipiac and Holy Cross will play in the opening game at 5:00 p.m.
UConn’s February 12th Alumni Day contest against the Falcons was originally scheduled to be held that evening at the Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum on campus in Storrs. Alumni Day events will be carried out as planned.
"I think its a great opportunity of our alumni to gather at the FleetCenter especially since many of them played when our rink was still an outdoor facility," said Connecticut Head Coach Bruce Marshall. "It is also a great opportunity for our current players to skate there as well."
