Koidahl and Myhro Earn Atlantic Hockey Honors

WAKEFIELD, Mass. (October 17, 2005) - University of Connecticut junior, Cole Koidahl (Minneapolis, Minn.), was named Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday morning. Freshman Chris Myhro (Eden Prairie, Minn.) was also awarded by being named to the Atlantic Hockey Honor Roll.
Koidahl earned his award with his stellar play in the Huskies' 4-4 tie with Union on Saturday night. Koidahl registered one goal and two assists in the game for a total of three points. He helped tie the score at 1-1 in the first period with a power play goal, as well as assisting on the third and fourth goals of the game for UConn.
Myhro scored his first collegiate goal in the Huskies’ 4-4 tie. He helped to even the score in the second period when UConn was down 2-1.
The Huskies are on the road again this weekend as they travel to Merrimack to face the Warriors on Oct. 21 and 22.
