Men's Soccer To Host BIG EAST Quarterfinals

STORRS, Conn. (October 31, 2005) - The University of Connecticut will host the quarterfinal round of the BIG EAST men’s soccer tournament on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 1:00 p.m. at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium. The No. 7 Huskies will play Georgetown, who the Huskies defeated, 1-0, in the regular season finale on Oct. 29.
This will be the 11th consecutive trip to the BIG EAST tournament for the defending conference tournament champions. The Huskies have recorded a tournament record of 11-6-1 since 1997 under Head Coach Ray Reid, earning two championships.
Tickets for UConn's game on Sunday will follow pricing standards set by the BIG EAST for the semifinal and championship games hosted by UConn during the weekend of Nov. 11-13. Game tickets can be purchased by calling the ticket office at 877-AT-UCONN.
$7 for adults (18-and-over)
