Huskies Rank Ninth in Soccer America Preseason Poll

STORRS, Conn. (August 19) — The University of Connecticut women’s soccer team is ranked ninth in the Soccer America Preseason Top 25 poll, as announced by the magazine. The Huskies are one of three BIG EAST teams that made the list, which includes conference foes Notre Dame at No. 2, followed by West Virginia at No. 15.
The team opens its regular season on Friday, Aug. 26 at 5:00 p.m. against Hofstra at the Penn State Tournament. They will host their first regular season home game on Sept. 9, against UMass.
