Men's Tennis Close Out Play at ITA Regional Championships

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (October 23, 2006) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team closed out the fall season of play at the ITA Regional Championships this weekend in Philadelphia, Pa.
The Huskies were represented in singles by sophomore Ben Schueler (Arlington, Mass.) He was defeated by Nolan Greenberg of Deleware 6-1, 6-3 in the first round.
Schueler and freshman Joe Goldstein (Tucson, Ariz.) teamed up in doubles. The pair dropped an 8-5 match to Pedro Genovese and Frederico Rolon from Marist.
UConn will start up the spring season in early February.
