Feldman Takes 135th At NCAA Cross Country Championships

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (November 20, 2006) — University of Connecticut senior Max Feldman (Easton, Conn.) wrapped up his 2006 cross country season by earning a 135th place finish Monday afternoon at the NCAA Cross Country Championships hosted by Indiana State University.
Feldman, who totaled four top 10 finishes and lead the Huskies in five meets the season, finished the 10,000-meter run in a time of 32:55.3.
BYU’s Josh Rohatinsky won the individual crown after finishing the event with a time of 30:44.9.
Colorado won the team championship with at total of 94 points. Wisconsin, Iona, Stanford and Oregon round out the top five finishing teams.
Martin Fagan of Providence was the top BIG EAST finisher as he completed the run in a time of 31:01.0 to lay claim to fifth place.
