Women's Rowng Concludes Fall Season In Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (November 5, 2006) --- The University of Connecticut women's rowing team concluded the fall portion of it 2006-07 season on Sunday as it participated in the Syracuse Invitational.

In the Varsity Four race, UConn finished in sixth and 13th place in times of 21:43.32 and 23:14.36. Marist won the overall race followed by two Syracuse boats.

UConn boats finished in sixth and eighth place in the Novice Eight race in times of 21:23.02 and 22:19.49.

There was a Varsity Four 'B flight' and UConn finished in third (22:04.59) and fifth (22:43.70).
