Men's Tennis Concludes Play At Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. (October 7, 2007) - After three days of competition, the University of Connecticut men's tennis team wrapped up the Bucknell Invitational Sunday with overall wins in three events.
The Huskies finished the tournament with the final round of round robin play in singles action. The first two rounds were played on Friday and Saturday, along with three rounds of doubles Saturday.
Tom Cook (Pittsford, N.Y.) won his singles flight and partnered with Andrew Marcus (Potomac, Md.) to come away with the victory at #3 doubles. Cook defeated Quinnipiac's Joe Nuara, 6-0, 6-3 Sunday for the top finish at #6 singles.
The men's tennis team returns to action Wednesday with a dual match against Sacred Heart at 3:00 p.m. at the UConn Tennis Courts.
