Three Compete in Men's Cross Country NCAA Regional Championships

BRONX, N.Y. (November 15, 2008) – Three runners on the University of Connecticut men's cross country team competed in the NCAA Regional Championships, Saturday. UConn's top finisher was sophomore Scott Johnson (Old Lyme, Conn.). He finished first for the Huskies for the fifth time this season. Johnson placed 79th overall.
Johnson was followed by freshman Andrew Judd (West Hartford, Conn.) who placed 128th overall and sophomore Luke Albertson (Norwich, Conn.) who finished 189th.
There were 239 runners competing in the Northeast regional race in Van Cortlandt Park.
