Day One of Hawks Golf Invite Cancelled

NORTH FALMOUTH, Mass (September 28, 2008)-- The first round of the Hawks Invitational/America Sky Championship scheduled for Sunday has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
Play is scheduled to begin on Monday at Ballymeade Country Club at 8 a.m. if weather permits.
The University of Connecticut is one of 23 schools in the tournament, hosted by the University of Hartford. The participating schools are as follows: Baylor, Binghamton, Bryant, Cal-Poly, Connecticut, Drexel, Georgia State, Hartford, Loyola, Mercer, NC State, Northern Colorado, Rhode Island, Rutgers, Sacramento State, Seton Hall, USC Upstate, Southern Methodist, Texas Christian, Texas-Pan American, Utah Valley, Weber State and William & Mary.
