Dubrowski and Dziubina Earn All-New England Golf Honors

Brewster, Mass. - University of Connecticut junior Matt Dubrowski and sophomore Matthew Dziubina were named to the 2009 All-New England Golf team announced Thursday by the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association.
The duo helped the Huskies capture the 2009 NEIGA Championship Tuesday, each finishing in a tie for eighth place in the individual standings at one-over 145. Dubrowski shot a two-under 70 on Tuesday to lead the Husky charge to the title from seven shots off the Monday lead. Dziubina shot a 73 Tuesday to help UConn to its four-under 284 team total for the day.
The Huskies conclude the fall season at The Match Play at Pine Needles Golf Resort in Southern Pines, N.C. on October 30, 31 and November 1.
