- The crowd of 58,106 is the fifth largest road crows that the Huskies have played in front of in the FBS era.
- West Virginia remains undefeated against UConn in BIG EAST Conference games going 6-0 since 2002.
- UConn is now 1-14 against ranked teams with their only victory coming against No. 11 South Florida in 2007.
- The Huskies are currently 15-22 against BIG EAST teams and 4-15 on the road in conference play.
- The 14-second return of the opening kickoff for a TD by Tavon Austin was the fastest score against the Huskies in the FBS era. . The return was the longest kickoff return for a touchdown for West Virginia since 2001 and the first kickoff return for a TD against the Huskies since Jabari Marshall did it for Duke on Sept. 1, 2007.
- Cody Endres completed a career best 25 passes for a career high 378 passing yards.
- Marcus Easley caught five passes for a career best 157 yards.
- With Cody Endres' 378 passing yards and Marcus Easley's 157 receiving yards, this is the first time since Oct. 30, 2004 that the Huskies have had a 100-yard receiver and a 300-yard passer when current Houston Texan Dan Orlovsky and Cornell Brockington completed the feat at Syracuse.
- The 88-yard strike from Endres to Easley was the fourth longest pass play in UConn Football history and a career best for the duo.
- Robbie Frey ended the game with a career best 136 kickoff return yards.
- Robert Vaughan recorded his fourth interception of the season and 13th of his career.
- Teggart is currently 25-25 in extra point attempts this season and has made the first 41 extra point attempts of his career.
