Watson-Siriboe Named to Goal.com First Team

Kwame Watson-Siriboe earned a spot on the Goal.com First Team after a stellar senior campaign with the University of Connecticut men's soccer team in 2009.
Watson-Siriboe was named the 2009 BIG EAST Co-Defender of the Year while earning a spot on the All-BIG EAST First Team in 2009. He earned BIG EAST Defender of the Week honors twice during his final season with the Huskies and was named to the Soccer America Men's Team of the Week on Sept. 28.The senior finished the year earning a spot on the TopDrawerSoccer.com Men's College First Team as well as the Goal.com First Team. Watson-Siriboe recorded three goals for six points during his final year with the Huskies as he led the program to its 30th overall and 12th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
The Huskies also earned their 11th BIG EAST Regular Season title en route to an 11-4-4 overall record. UConn spent all but one week ranked in the top-25 of the NSCAA/adidas Poll, finishing the regular season ranked ninth in the country.
In Division I men's soccer, UConn was ranked fourth at the end of the regular season in shutout percentage, sixth in goals against average and ninth in save percentage with a mark of .863.
