Marcus and Warden Lead Huskies into Day Three

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Andrew Marcus and Scott Warden are leading the UConn men's tennis team this weekend at the Bucknell Invitational as the duo will compete in the A doubles' final on Sunday in Lewisburg.
The UConn duo defeated Boston University's Zimmer and Katten 9-7 on Saturday to advance to the championship match.
In flight A singles, Warden defeated Jorge Osuna of George Mason 6-2, 6-5 to advance to the semifinals of the flight. Warden then downed Fairleigh Dickinson's Peter Skvarka 6-2, 6-3 to move into the finals of the A singles, which will be played on Sunday at Bucknell. He will take on Ibrahim Shams of FDU, who defeated Colgate's Alec Goldstein 6-3, 6-0 in semifinal action on Saturday to advance to the finals.
In B flight singles, Ryan Carr defeated Boston University's Scott Bernstein in a pair of 6-2 sets to advance to the semifinal round of the bracket. To move into the finals, the UConn freshman edged Yuri Gricheno 6-3, 6-4. Gricheno met Carr in semifinal action after defeating UConn's Wei Lin in the quarterfinals.
