HOME STRETCH: UConn comes back to Storrs for four-straight games at Morrone Stadium. UConn will host Marquette on Friday before facing South Florida on Sunday. The Huskies will then face No. 5 Notre Dame on October 15 before closing out Morrone Stadium with a game against DePaul on October 17.
LAST TIME OUT: UConn defeated Seton Hall, 3-0, on Sunday after falling at Rutgers, 2-0, on Friday. In the contest against Seton Hall, graduate student Angelika Johansson was the difference, scoring two goals including the game winner. Senior Elise Fugowski tallied an insurance tally late in the second half to put the game out of reach. Junior Jessica Dulski and sophomore Ally Mancino combined for four stops to keep the clean sheet.
FRIDAY FACE OFF: Connecticut hosts Marquette on Friday at 5:00 p.m. On the season, UConn stands at 1-1-2 on Fridays. This will mark the fifth meeting between the two teams.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES: Marquette currently ranks second in the Northeast Region and has received votes for much of the year. MU was chosen as the preseason favorite in the BIG EAST American Division. The Golden Eagles recently defeated #22 Georgetown, 2-1, and Villanova, 3-0.
Marquette is in the midst of a five-game winning streak and sits at 5-0 in the BIG EAST Conference. Marquette has had 11 different goal scorers on the season. Freshman Meagan Kelly and junior Racheal Sloan lead the team with four goals each. Junior Natalie Kulla has played every minute for the Golden Eagles. She boasts a 0.73 goals against average and a .792 save percentage. Marquette has outshot its opponents, 242-103, and has had 83 corner kicks compared to 37 for the opposition.
SERIES HISTORY: Connecticut owns a 2-3 record all-time against Marquette. The Golden Eagles have won the last two contests. Both games were at Marquette.
BIG EAST HONOR ROLL: Senior Erin Clark was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll on September 27. She put home UConn's lone goal in the 2-1 defeat at the hands of St. John's on September 23 before tallying the game-winning goal against Syracuse (3-0) on Sept 26.
