Jean-Baptiste Named Soccer America Freshman All-American

STORRS, Conn. - UConn men's soccer freshman Andrew Jean-Baptiste was named a 2010 Soccer America First Team All-American as announced by the publication early this week.
Jean-Baptiste earned NSCAA All-Northeast Region Second Team honors this year as well after starting all 20 games as part of the Husky defense that allowed just seven goals on the year. UConn also posted 13 shutouts. During home contests only, the Huskies allowed just two goals as they held an 8-0-3 record at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium.
The freshman, who made the 2010 BIG EAST All-Rookie Team for his efforts this season, led the Huskies as they finished the year 12-2-6 overall.
