ROCHESTER, N.Y. - After a terrific freshman season, Alex Gerke (Tomah, Wisc.) has been named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie Team. The award is the first of Gerke's career.

Gerke played in 35 games on the season for the Huskies, missing a couple games in the beginning of December with a slight injury. He started off his college career on a hot streak recording five points in six games from Nov. 6 to Nov. 21
He tallied the first point of his collegiate career on an assist at Merrimack on Oct. 25, while nabbing his first collegiate goal against AIC on Nov. 6, helping the Huskies to their first win of the season.
