Hello Husky Softball Fans!
Another week has come and gone but this one unfortunately had more lows than ups. As we all know, there are going to be those kinds of weeks from time to time but our objective is to learn from those mistakes, apply what we've learned to this upcoming week, and hopefully come out smiling.
Softball wise we were all over the map. At times we had strong performances, which leaves the question, "What happened during those `other' times?"
We learned Jessica McDermott, although being from New Jersey, will most likely move to the Syracuse area upon graduating college due to the large fan base she recently acquired this past weekend. Course, that means she'll be living in a tent out beyond right field, but I'm sure her many newly found admirers will take good care of her.
The most notable part of our weekend in Syracuse was eating at the famous Dinosaur Barbeque Restaurant. Now, normally Peter Looney has to be seated first as he always enjoys a good meal. But this time, he was the last one to sit down because he was drooling over the dozens of Harley Davidson's & Choppers lined up outside the restaurant. For any readers visiting the Syracuse area, we highly recommend going to the Dinosaur. It's a very fun and unique atmosphere and the food is outstanding. I'd go with the mac `n cheese side dish for sure...of course I didn't get that but regretted it as soon as I saw the others eating it.
This weekend we're off to Villanova where the great debate is whether or not to take the team to the famous Tony Luke's for a good, old fashioned Philly Cheesesteaks. Hey...if you can't beat em, join em!
