Elliot to Play in NECBL All-Star Game

STORRS, Conn. -
UConn baseball's Doug Elliot was named to the East Division of the 2010 New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) All-Star Game, which will take place on Sunday, July 18 at Cardines Field in Newport, R.I.
First pitch for the NECBL All-Star Game is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
Elliot, who currently plays for the Sanford Mainers, has 17 hits this summer in 23 games played. He is batting .246 with seven RBI and 14 walks.
