Pair of Huskies Compete at CCSU Mini Meet

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's cross country team sent a pair of student-athletes to compete at the CCSU Mini Meet in New Britain, Conn. today. Graduate student Maureen Stringham (Hockessin, Del.) placed 25th to lead the Huskies.Stringham completed the 3k course in 11:06. Senior Christine Vogel (Glastonbury, Conn.) placed 45th overall. She finished the race in 11:57.
Former UConn All-American Leah Andrianos ('11) also competed in today's race unattached. She placed third overall in 10:09. Providence College took the team competition, led by Shelby Greany who took the individual title in 10:06.
The Huskies will be in action next weekend at the BIG EAST Championships in Louisville, Ky. on Saturday, October 29.
