Storrs, Conn. - Junior Matthew Dziubina finished the FAU Spring Break Championship as UConn's top scorer with a four-over par 220 to place tied for 24th. UConn finished 14th as a team during the 3-day event held at Gleneagles Country Club in Delray Beach, Fla.
Ohio State captured the team title with a team score of 12-under par, besting the hosts, Florida Atlantic, by 11 strokes. Ohio State's Brad Smith took the individual title with an eight-under par 208.
Dsiubina shot plus-two 74 in round one followed by plus-one 73 in rounds two and three. He was followed on the UConn score card by senior Chris DeLucia (+13), junior Matt Carroll (+16), sophomore Brian Hughes (+20) and junior Adam Vaccari (+23).

UConn will compete next at the New England Division I Championships hosted by Providence College. The Huskies will travel to the Newport National CC in Newport, R.I. for the two-day tournament on April 9 and 10.
