Cecco Competes At NCAA Diving Championship

AUSTIN, Texas - University of Connecticut sophomore diver Danielle Cecco (Hicksville, N.Y.) competed in the NCAA Diving Championships on March 17-19 in Austin, Texas.
Cecco finished 20th in the three-meter diving championship with a score of 299.30 points and was 29th in the one-meter dive with 254.20 points.
"As a sophomore, her performance was very commendable," said UConn diving coach John Bransfield. "She has plenty to grow on from this experience."
Cecco qualified for the NCAA nationals by sweeping the NCAA Zone Diving Championships the previous weekend in Annapolis, Md.
