STORRS, Conn. - The Huskies were ranked sixth in the Northeast Region in this week's USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Regional Cross Country Rankings. The ranking, two spots higher than last week, comes after UConn took an overall ninth place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 24.
At the Griak, UConn came in front of two nationally ranked opponents for the first time in program history as they were in front of #23 BYU and #21 North Carolina State.
Also, be sure to check out sophomore Lauren Sara (Stratford, Conn.) being interviewed after her sixth place finish at the Griak Invitational and how the Huskies get prepared for a meet.
