Women's Tennis Competes At Army Invitational

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's tennis team competed at the Army Invitational earlier this month. The doubles tandems each won the first round of the four doubles flights. Freshman Alexandra Bergman advanced to win the consolation draw of No. 4 singles.
Bergman dropped her first match, 6-1, 6-3, falling into the consolation draw. She was able to beat Haley O'Conner , 8-5 in the first roud before downing Gaby Sarrate of Fairleigh Dickinson, 8-3, and Kari Pope of Army, 8-5 in the consolation championship.
