PITTSBURGH - University of Connecticut junior Grant Fecteau (Delmar, N.Y.) finished fifth in the one-meter diving at the BIG EAST Championships on Saturday, Feb. 12, after a a strong seventh place finish on the three-meter board the previous day.
Fecteau, who missed the championship portion of last season with an injury, scored a 273.15 in the one-meter finals after scoring a 270.50 in the preliminaries. Fecteau scored a 277.90 in the three-meter finals.
Fecteau will represent UConn at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships in Buffalo, N.Y., on Friday-Sunday, March 9-11.
