STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's team lost to conference foe Syracuse on Friday, 7-0.
After a 6-1 loss in the first set and one singles, freshman Srna Stosljevic (Novi Sad, Serbia) played a close second, falling 7-5. At three singles, junior Lucy Nutting (Wilmington, Del.) was narrowly defeated; 6-4, 7-6 (7-5).
