STORRS, Conn.- As a spring community service project, the University of Connecticut's softball team has partnered with Kicks for Africa, an organization here on UConn's campus. Kicks for Africa's mission is to donate gently used shoes to less fortunate children. The team will be collecting gently used shoes to send over to an orphanage in Uganda at this week’s home games on Thursday (4/18), Saturday (4/20) and Sunday (4/21). Please consider bringing your gently used shoes to help Kicks for Africa reach their goal of fitting the students in Africa with shoes. Please come out to support our team and contribute to a great cause.
