The UConn Huskies are the 2015 NCAA women's basketball champions! UConn topped Notre Dame 63-53 in the national title game in Tampa to claim their third straight NCAA championship and record 10th national title in program history. Perth Amboy: Congrats girls. I am 12 years old, and I play in the girls varsity. I was going to give up hope playing basketball all because I wouldn't give the effort. I had to be really stupid when I thought this. I saw how much work you girls put in and I realized, if I love this sport so much, I have to fight for it. I started joining camps and clinics and was recognized for the most valuable player. I guess I just want to say thanks for giving me hope. For the rest of my years of middle school and high school, I will give all my time devoted to UConn. I want to go to collage here, but like basketball, I'm going to put effort and hard work into it |
