Huskies Drop 5-2 Match to Quinnipiac

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 dual match decision to visiting Quinnipiac Sunday afternoon from the UConn Tennis Courts on campus. The Huskies finish 1-1 in dual matches this fall.
The Huskies grabbed both of their point singles play, winning at the No. 1 and No. 6 spots. Senior Christopher Toner (South Hamilton, Mass.) won his top-spot match with Freddie Zaretsky, 6-0 and 6-2. Toner has won both of his singles matches in dual match play this fall and is now 4-3 on the season.
Junior Jonathan Edwards (Isle of Palms, S.C.) picked up a 6-1 and 6-3 win at No. 6, beating Ryoma Haraguchi. Edwards improved to 5-2 in singles play and has now won three-straight
The Huskies wrap up the fall season at the annual ITA Northeast Regional Championship, being held this fall at the University of Pennsylvania.
